LaVerne S. Wetor Mrs. LaVerne Wetor of Gables on the Pond in Random Lake passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday July 29th 2007. She was 88 years old. LaVerne was born on November 23rd 1918 in Random Lake daughter of Jerome and Josephine Pierron Sinnen. She was united in marriage with Clarence Wetor at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada on September 2 1939. The couple farmed in the Town of Sherman for many years. Clarence preceded her in death in 1989. Mrs. Wetor was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish St. Nicholas Chapel as well as a former officer of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed gardening and flowers playing cards and sheepshead and a good game of Bingo. Survivors include her two children: Janice (Robert) Kronforst of Grafton and Wilmer Willy (Linda) Wetor of Random Lake four grandchildren: Ron Colleen Paul and Susan two step-grandchildren: Karen and Wayne three great-grandchildren: Payton Sydney and Madeline and four step-great-grandchildren: Jessica Tiffany Joseph and Jordan. She is further survived by her twin sister Marcella Schmitz also of Gables on the Pond sisters Geraldine Schowalter of Mesa AZ and Alicia (Donald) Nowack of Nekoosa brother Jerome Sinnen Jr. of Random Lake sister-in-law Gladys Sinnen of Saukville nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence an infant son daughter-in-law Beth Wetor and brothers Norbert and Roland Sinnen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7PM on Monday August 6th at Our Lady of the Lakes St. Nicholas Chapel Dacada. Father Richard Cerpich will officiate. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 4-7PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium is assisting the family with arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Gables on the Pond and Heartland Hospice for their excellent care.
