Mrs. Korene T. Daane passed away Friday morning August 23 2013 at Cedar Grove Gardens in Cedar Grove. She was 95 years old. Korene was born October 10 1917 in Oostburg the daughter of Andrew and Bertha Wynveen Dees. On April 1 1938 she was united in marriage with Harold James Daane. He preceded her in death in 1986. Korene was a lifelong resident of the Cedar Grove area and a longtime member of First Reformed Church. She is survived by her daughters: Karen Searle of Brookfield and Diane (John) Navis of Cedar Grove. She is further survived by four grandsons: Rob (Kim) Searle Brad (Vanessa) Navis Dan Navis and Scott (Cori) Navis 12 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandson sister-in-law Marie (the late Orlon) Berenschot of Sheboygan nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband Harold and brothers and sisters-in-law: Mildred (Henry) TeWinkle Walter (Joy) Daane and Ruth (Erwin) TenPas. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday August 26 at First Reformed Church 237 S. Main St. Cedar Grove. Pastor Kent Vant Hul will officiate. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Maasai Outreach Mission through First Reformed Church. The Eernisse Funeral Home Belgium is honored to be serving the family.
