KEVIN R. HOFSTAD nbsp; Mr. Kevin Hofstad of East Dekora Street in Saukville passed away Wednesday afternoon August 11 2010 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington where he had been battling liver disease.nbsp; He was 56 years old.nbsp; Kevin was born in Milwaukee on January 26 1954 son of Mylford and Jeannie Allen Hofstad.nbsp; The family moved to Cedarburg and Kevin later attended Cedarburg High School. Mr. Hofstad later moved to Grafton and Port Washington before settling in Saukville in the 1970rsquo;s.nbsp; Most recently he had been employed at Mequon Care Center in Mequon however his health situation did not allow him to work in recent years.nbsp; Kevin enjoyed old cars and going to car shows.nbsp; He loved going to rummage sales and looking for knickknacks and antiques to add to his collections.nbsp; Mr. Hofstad was a die-hard Cubs fan.nbsp; He made a point of going to the Ozaukee County Fair with his sister every year.nbsp; His daughters and grandchildren were very important to him and he loved to spend as much time with them as he could.nbsp; Kevin is survived by his daughters Monica (Nicholas) Busalacchi of Saukville and Dawn Hofstad of Chicago his four grandchildren: Dennis Conroy Jr. Dieman Conroy Jasmine Nutten and Angelo Busalacchi.nbsp; He is further survived by his brother Ron (Pat) Hofstad of Grafton his sister Lynda (Mike) Goeman of Hartford sister-in-law Cheri Zaupa of Germantown nieces nephews other relatives and friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dusty Hofstad. Funeral Services will be held at 6PM on Monday August 16th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Monday from 4-6PM.
