KERRY PATRICK BENNETT Mr. Kerry Bennett of Monroe Street in Port Washington passed away unexpectedly at Columbia-St. Maryrsquo;s Ozaukee Campus in Mequon on Friday evening November 13 2009.nbsp; He was 54 years old.nbsp; Kerry was born on October 18 1955 in Milwaukee son of Russell and Margaret Davis Bennett.nbsp; After he graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee Kerry joined the United States Army.nbsp; Following his service Kerry became employed with IGL Wisconsin as an Awning Technician.nbsp; Mr. Bennett was united in marriage with Kathy Flannigan on September 7 1996 at St. Catherine Chapel in West Allis.nbsp; The couple moved to Port Washington in 2002.nbsp; Kerry belonged to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Port Washington where he was a very active member. He loved going fishing and was passionate about discussing politics with people.nbsp; Mr. Bennett also enjoyed playing sheepshead the Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family.nbsp; He is survived by his wife Kathy his 3 children: Corey (Emily) Bennett of Brookfield Keefe Bennett and Kelsey Bennett both of Port Washington and his grandson Noah Bennett also of Brookfield.nbsp; He is further survived by his siblings: Wayne (ldquo;Clauderdquo;) Bennett Maureen Endres Kearney (Eva) Bennett Meagan Green and Kelly Star all of Milwaukee.nbsp; He is also survived by his mother-in-law Barbara Flannigan of Port Washington sister-in-law Beverly Bennett of Germantown brothers-in-law Dan (Lori) Solberg of Greenfield and Mike ldquo;Big Redrdquo; (Mary) Solberg of West Allis nieces nephews other relatives and many friends.nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents Russell and Margaret his brother Russell his sister Nora and his father-in-law Max Flannigan.nbsp; Funeral Services for Kerry will be held at 7PM on Thursday November 19th at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 1535 N. Grant St. in Port Washington. nbsp;Pastor Martin Wildauer will officiate.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Thursday from 4-7PM.nbsp; br /Service:br /p7PM on Thursday November 19th at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 1535 N.
