Kenneth Bock of Cedarburg passed away into the loving arms of Jesus at his residence on April 23 2015. He was 91 years old. Ken was born in Rockfield WI on April 7 1924 son of Theodore Bock and Lilly Widder Bock. He grew up in the West Bend area graduating from West Bend High School. After school he served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. While stationed in England he met his wife Gladys Babs Collings. They married in England on April 7 1945. After the war the couple moved back to Wisconsin where Ken started working for Kiekhaefer (later Mercury) Marine. He retired in 1986 after 40 years of employment. Ken and Babs then moved to a home on Long Lake where they enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Babs preceded him in death in 2005. Ken was a member of St. Peter's United Church in Richfield. Ken loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling playing cards fishing and hunting. He had a great sense of humor and loved teasing everyone. Ken is survived by his four children: Sandy (Jim) Janiszewski of Cedarburg Chris (Bruce Barber) Steuck of Champagne IL Tom (Debbie) Bock of Port Washington and Cindy (John) Cassel of Fredonia. He is further survived by 11 grandchildren: Jeff (Beth McMahon) Brown Kelly Kabitzke Tim (Alana) Riemer Pat (Linda) Riemer Adam (Sarah) Steuck Andrea (Kevin Schuhl) Steuck Shannon (Tony Miller) Braun Tracey (Matt) Junkin Erika Braun Jennifer Cassel and A.J. (Emily) Cassel great-grandchildren his special friend Geri Corrigan of Cedarburg son-in-law Ron (Debbie) Steuck of Port Washington sister-in-law Phyllis (the late Don) Leech of England nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Teddy (the late Steffie) Bock sisters Pearl (the late Sal) Remmel Lorraine (the late Clarence) Fogt Bernice (the late Larry) Weber and one infant brother. Funeral services will be held on Sunday April 26th at 3 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg. He will be laid to rest with military honors in St. Peter's Cemetery Richfield. Visitation will be held on Sunday April 26th at the funeral home from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
