Obituary

Ken Maas was born to eternal life on May 14, 2021 after a brave battle with Covid pneumonia at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond Du Lac. He was 56 years old. He was born on September 9, 1964 at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington to Roger Maas and Joan Feider Maas. Ken had a great love fishing and hunting, and especially his two children Dylan and Kristine Maas. In July of 1990, he married Jean Fischer. The couple later divorced but stayed friends. Ken met his Soulmate Jackie Maas (née Robson) on April 8, 2017 and were Married on February 20, 2020. They shared a great love for outdoors and especially his love for fishing. He had a very close relationship with his Brother Lloyd Maas, and the two of them spent a lot of time on the water fishing and even more time in woods hunting. He spent a lot of time with his sister Lisa Maas and was there for a lot of her firsts in life and especially showed her how to stay out of trouble with mom and dad. Kenny worked for many years at KMC Stamping and Trak International in Port Washington. He turned his love of cars into becoming a mechanic for several years at D&D Auto in Little Kohler and Silver Spray in Mequon. His last place of employment was building engines at Metalcraft in Mayville. Ken leaves behind His loving wife Jackie, his two children Dylan (Cortney Humphrey) and Kristine (Jarred Rautmann), two granddaughters Harpar Maas And Vivian Rautmann. He also leaves two unborn grandchildren, one to each of his children. He is further survived by his Parents Roger and Joan Maas, brother Lloyd Maas, sister Lisa Maas (Zachary McGuire), two nephews Cory and Tyler McGuire, one step-daughter Celyna Robson, his mother-in-law Lourdeen Robson, his sister-in-law Noelle Bensley, his Godfather Larry Maas (Carol), Godmother Marcy Bauer(Gerald), several aunts and uncles: Ernie Maas, David Maas (Sharon), Clarance Maas (Linda), Dale Maas (Gayla), Edgar Maas(Darlene), Theresa Thomas (David), Annie Thomas (Joe), Elroy Feider, Joyce Wood, and Judy Hartman, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his brother-in-law, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21st at St. John's Lutheran Church, 824 Fredonia Ave, Fredonia. Visitation will take place from 4 PM until the time of the services at 6 PM. He will be laid to rest in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Fredonia. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested.
