Obituary

Mr. Kenneth H. Krueger of Port Washington passed away Wednesday evening September 30 2015 at his home after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was 41 years old. Ken was born February 3 1974 in Hartford the son of Francis and Lorraine (nee Luebke) Krueger. After graduating from Hartford Union High School he went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from UW-Platteville. On November 13 2004 he was united in marriage with Cheryl Knuth in Mequon. He and Cheryl settled in Port Washington and welcomed their children Logan in 2005 and Macy in 2008. Ken was a proud and dedicated sheriff's deputy with the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department for 10 years before having to medically retire in April of 2010. Even after his retirement he kept close connections with the department. Ken was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. He enjoyed playing video games with his son and watching movies with his family. He loved to travel with his family especially to Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Ken is survived by his wife Cheryl and their children Logan and Macy. He is further survived by his parents Francis and Lorraine Krueger of Hartford his sister Tara Schulz of Germantown his brother Edward (Mary) Krueger of Hartford father and mother-in-law Don and Renee Knuth of Port Washington sister-in-law Kristine (Tom) Morano of Fredonia 5 nieces and nephews other relatives his brothers and sisters from the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department and many friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Lillian Luebke and Gilbert and Marie Krueger. A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Sunday October 4 2015 at Concordia University - Chapel of Christ Triumphant 12800 N. Lake Shore Dr. in Mequon. The family will receive visitors at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington on Saturday October 3 2015 from 12-4PM and again on Sunday from 1-2PM at Concordia University Chapel of Christ Triumpant. He will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Port Washington. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to an Educational Fund being set up for his children. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
