Kenneth A. Klein of Grafton passed away Thursday morning June 4 2015 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was 86 years old. Kenny was born March 24 1929 in Milwaukee son of Herbert Klein and Agnes Sudski Klein. He was later orphaned and lived for eleven years at an orphanage in Milwaukee with his brother Herbert Klein. When he was 11 he was taken in by the Stout family in Richfield to work as a farm hand later to be part of their family. He worked on the farm for years raising dairy cows mink and bees. When Kenny was 21 he was in a severe car accident and was in a coma for 3 months with a traumatic brain injury. He was cared for in the living room of the Stout farm by nuns family members and friends. When he awoke he could not talk walk or speak. He had to learn everything all over again. Kenny met his wife of 53 years Anne Gleason at a soda fountain. The couple was married on January 6 1962 and had three children. Kenny attended Barber school and worked at Reiny's Barbershop in Wauwatosa for many years. He later worked as a maintenance man at Menominee Falls East High School where he retired in the early 1990's. He was loved by all who met him and had some great lines You ain't kidding! Kenny was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Grafton and enjoyed the Green Bay Packers riding on his scooter and loved his dogs. Kenny is survived by his wife of 53 years Anne of Grafton his three children: Kim (Tom) Kramer of Wind Lake Chris Klein of Port Washington and Lisa (Special friend Tom Koch) Klein of Port Washington. He is further survived and adored by his grandchildren Dylan and Sawyer Crain his sisters-in-law Marilyn Klein of Brookfield and Carol (Jim) Fattor of Lafayette CO nieces nephews the Stout children and all his wonderful friends he has met through the years. He is preceded in death by his parents his father-in-law and mother-in-law and his brother Herbert Klein. A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated on Saturday June 13 2015 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Parish 1619 Washington St. Grafton. Deacon Al Lazaga will preside. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday June 13th from 10 AM until time of services. In Lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Portal Industries.
