In Loving Memory Kenneth Max Soper of Adell Wisconsin was born to Everett and Edna Soper on July 27 1929 in Madison Kansas. He died on June 25 2007 at the age of 77. He grew up with his brothers Don and Jack and younger sister Rosalie. He joined the Air Force at age 17 on the buddy system with his brother Don. They were stationed in Okinawa Japan and he always had stories to tell about that time. He was married in 1950 to Elnora Yoder and they had three daughters: Charla Karen and Cheryl. Ken enjoyed playing practical jokes on people. He loved interacting with and helping people and always practiced his Spanish on unsuspecting waitresses! He enjoyed walks nature and playing with his dog Zoey. He loved puttering around outside and working in his garden. Ken married Harolyn Laux on October 2 1976. Ken and Harolyn were very active in their church. He was faithful in serving the Lord and enjoyed spreading God's Word. Ken and Harolyn spent their summers in Wisconsin and winters in Texas and had many dear friends in both places. Ken is survived by his wife Harolyn his daughters Charla Atwood of Antioch CA Karen McCurdy of Bandon Oregon and Cheryl Seefeldt of Germantown Wisconsin. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law Harold and Olive Laux of Random Lake a brother Don (Lorita) Soper of Green Valley AZ and sister Rosalie Craig of El Dorado Kansas a brother-in-law Larry (Barb) Laux of Batavia and two sisters-in-law Ann (Greg) Zukowski of Cottage Grove and Lori (Gary) Dahm of Belgium. His brother Jack preceded him in death in 1993. Ken had 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who loved him dearly. Visitation is on Friday July 6th from 6 to 8 PM and Saturday July 7th from 9 to 10 AM with services to follow at Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington Wisconsin.
