Obituary

Keith E. Chrisler Keith Chrisler age 65 years of Cedarburg passed away on Thursday April 5 2012 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was born June 20 1946 in Madison son of the late Kiron and Eda Quam Chrisler. He was a 1964 graduate of Monona Grove High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for two years. On April 1 1967 he married Gail Simmons at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Keith retired in 2010 as Director of Continuing Education for Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Keith had a passion for music and enjoyed going to musical plays and performances. He sang for three years with the New Horizons Church Singers and the Four Decades quartet. Keith also enjoyed singing in various church choirs. He volunteered to sing at New Castle Nursing Home and Seven Oaks Nursing Home monthly until he became ill. He enjoyed attending plays and performances at The Fireside in Fort Atkinson. Reading and spending time with his grandchildren was especially important to him. He is survived by his wife Gail two children Carla (Tim) Clemens of West Bend and Todd (Kristen) Chrisler of Cedarburg four grandchildren Collin BrendonTaylor and Tanner his step-mother Clarice Chrisler of Madison sister Pam (Bob) Johnson of Oklahoma brothers Jon (Kathy) Chrisler of Madison and Scott (Julie) Chrisler of Sun Prairie nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Cameron Chrisler. A memorial service will be held on Sunday April 15 3 PM at Christ Church 13460 N. Port Washington Road Mequon with Pastor Bob Suhr officiating. Inurnment will be in Immanuel Cemetery Cedarburg. Visitation at the CHURCH Sunday from 1:30 - 3 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to National Kidney Foundation American Diabetes Association American Heart Association Children's Hospital of Wisconsin or Christ Church appreciated. The Eernisse Funeral Home and Cremation Service Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
