Kathryn Gail Buck, 79, of Saukville, WI passed away Sunday, May 19th, 2019, at her home peacefully in her sleep, after a brief battle with lung cancer. Kathy was born August 11, 1939 to Anna J. Fischer and Elroy Rusch in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee, Class of 1957. On April 8th, 1961 she married William E. Buck of Milwaukee, WI. Kathy was married for 55 years before William passed away 3 years ago from complications from a prior brain aneurysm. Kathryn was a woman of few hobbies and minimal personal experiences, yet at the same time, she was worldly and fascinating. Her hobby, her passion, her love was her family. She lived for her and ultimately through her husband and children. She was the personification of selflessness, love and caring. She was the quintessential mother! Kathy is survived by her children Terrance W. Buck (Shelly) of Cedarburg, Jennifer K. Erhardt (William) of Manitowoc, Michelle A. Treske (David) of Saukville, James B. Buck (Jayne) of Omaha, NE, Daniel P. Buck (Shawn) of Belgium and Matthew J. Buck of West Bend. Kathy enjoyed her grandchildren, Michael, Eric (Jasmin), James, Jordan, Nicholas, Josh, Alyssa, Briana, Broderick, Breleigh, Tyler, Lauren and Carly as well as her great grandchildren Caiden, Jayden and Erika. She is further survived by her sister, MaryAnn Rusch (Sister Jeanne, SSND) of Cedarburg, brother Elroy Rusch of Cedarburg, sister-in-law Karen (John) Thorstenson of Menomonee Falls, brother-in-law John (Sandy) Lundstrom of Milwaukee, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 24th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg (1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg).
