Kathleen Loretta Thelen, of Port Washington, formerly of Saukville, passed peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday morning, January 4, 2025. She was born the beloved daughter Joseph and Eugenia (Breyer) Schommer on August 25, 1936, in Dacada, WI.

Kathleen graduated from Random Lake High School in 1954. She was employed as an inspector for Exacto Springs Corporation in Grafton for almost 20 years. Kathleen was a dedicated member of the Red Hats Society. She enjoyed shopping with friends and family, traveling to Florida, and rarely missed a luncheon with the Exacto retirement group.

Those left to cherish Kathleen's memory are her devoted daughters Lori (Jeff) Duwell, Holly (Scott) Lauters, Kerry (Ron) Binsfeld and Jackie (Lee) Umnus; cherished grandchildren Shaun (Kim), Ashley (special friend Matt), Alyssa (Peter), Leah (Jesse), Joe (Kala), Laura (Kyle), Carley (Dustin), Clinton (Nicole), Michael (Paige), Mitchel (Lindsay), Megan (special friend Ben) and 15 adored great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Donald and sister Delores.

Kathleen will be laid to rest at a private ceremony in Dacada.
