Kathy "Googie Peepers" Stasinopoulos passed away in the late evening hours of Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the age of 79. Kathy was born on March 19, 1946, to Marjorie and Irving Norton in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Aside from her family, one of Kathy's passions was running estate sales and organizing mega-rummage sales. She was a fixture at Cedarburg's Maxwell Street Days and State Fair Rummage-O-Rama and developed quite a reputation for finding and selling unique treasures and antiques.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Greg Stasinopoulos. She was a wonderful, loving mother to Traci Blockel and Jason (Tracy) Stasinopoulos, and was the best Nona to Alyssa Blockel. She is further survived by her siblings: Bonnie (the late Russell) Seymour, Jimmy (Mary Lu) Norton, and Susan (Ken) Michaud, numerous brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, and Auntie Googie to a multitude of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia (the late Joseph) Unger, Marjorie Norton, and Anthony (Rose) Norton.
Funeral service and entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Saturday, January 3, 2026. The family will greet guests from at 1:00PM with service to follow starting at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
