Kathleen Louise Oppermann went home peacefully to the Lord on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at the age of 75. Kathy was born February 4, 1942 in Port Washington, WI, the daughter Edward and Helen (nee Ahlers) Kleist. She was united in marriage to Harold Oppermann on November 10, 1962 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton, WI. She is survived by her husband Harold "Harry O" Oppermann, children Dawn (Kurt) Zirtzlaff, Wendy (Rodny) Otto and Douglas (Rebecca) Oppermann , grandchildren Justin (Angelina) Zirtzlaff, Danielle (Curt) Hafemeister, Trenton, Anthony and Courtney Otto, Emma, Evan and Eric Oppermann, great-grandchildren Joshua and Hailey Hafemeister, Alana and Aubree Zirtzlaff, and Dallas Otto-Graves, sister Lorna (Donald) Pitzer, nieces Cami (Michael) Whitt and Angie Pitzer, brother-in-law Walter (Joyce) Oppermann and sister-in-law June (Cliff) Rathke, along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Walter and Frieda (nee Heberer) Oppermann and sister-in-law Jean (the late Raymond) Risemeyer. Funeral Service 5:00 PM on Friday August 11, 2017 at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67N622 Evergreen Blvd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the Church from 3-5:00 PM and at a reception to be held following the Service. Private interment Immanuel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First Immanuel Lutheran Church "Guardian Angel Fund" or "FIL Endowment Fund", appreciated.
