Kathleen C. Michel Mrs. Kathleen Michel age 64 years of Port Washington passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday July 25 2007 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born on June 11 1943 in Stanford CT daughter of William Cozens and Mildred Cox Cozens. On October 13 1962 she married Paul Michel in Milwaukee. The couple made their home in Milwaukee until 1994 when they moved to Port Washington. Kathleen worked as a deli clerk at the Piggly Wiggly in Cedarburg. Mrs. Michel was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Glendale and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America. She enjoyed crafts was an avid reader and loved the Christmas season doing a new theme Christmas tree every year for her family. She is survived by her husband Paul of Port Washington 3 children; William (Barbara) Michel of St. Charles MN Jennifer (Jason) Gundrum of Port Washington and Rebecca (John) Gusel of Mesa AZ. She is further survived by four grandchildren Amanda and Paul Michel and Brandon and Miranda Kizewski two sisters; Joan Cozen of West Peoria IL and Dale (Rob) Parenteau of Westfield MA nieces nephews other relatives and friends including her very dear friends Mary Susan and Patti and her special companion her cockapoo Chloe. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 30th at 10 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church 7877 N. Port Washington Rd. in Glendale with Rev. Glenn Meyer officiating. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Mausoleum Port Washington. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 29th from 4-8 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family are appreciated. The Michel family would like to thank Seasons Hospice for their care and compassion.
