Kathleen A. Lehnhardt, of Cedar Grove, passed away on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at the age of 85.

Kathleen was born on March 19th, 1939, in Sheboygan, WI to the late Herbert and Ruth (Block) Schmiedel. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1957.

Later in life, she was united in marriage to Gary D. Lehnhardt on June 23rd, 1989, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Random Lake, WI. They spent over 20 years together. He preceded her in death on October 13th, 2009.

Kathleen retired as a proud Certified Nursing Assistant for the County of Sheboygan after many years. She was an avid shopper, often going to different antique shops to look for depression glass.

Adventurous at heart, Kathleen enjoyed traveling with her daughters and loved to go on cruises with her girls. At the young age of 85, she was so proud that she took a helicopter ride in Alaska, where she got to experience walking on a glacier and mushing with sled dogs. When she wasn't out traveling the world, she had a passion for reading, a delight for her granddaughter's sourdough bread, and a love for animals, specifically golden retrievers. Over everything, Kathleen valued spending time and making memories with her family.

Kathleen was known as "Bunny" to some, and "Fossil" to others. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Steve (Lori) Hicks, Kathy Lopez, Joe (Patty) Hicks, Laura Hicks, and Kelly (Mike) Teunissen, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren with one more on the way. She is further survived by her sister Sharon Schmiedel.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gary and her brother Herb.
