Kathleen Griffin "Kathy" (formerly Gall), a lifelong resident of Saukville, found eternal peace on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Kathy passed away in her home at the age of 74 years after a hard - fought battle with cancer. She was born on August 14, 1943 to Cloyd and Evelyn (nee McGaw) Leach. Kathy spent much of her life very involved with music. She was a member of the Milwaukee Choristers. She also performed in various musicals, the Port Washington City Band and the Ozaukee Chorus. In addition, Kathy spent many years as an accompanist at Friedens Church in Port Washington and organist at St. Peter's UCC in Saukville. Much of her free time was dedicated to assisting in various church and community organizations. She enjoyed her gardens and nature. Any time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was cherished. Kathy is survived by her daughters Corinne (Anthony) Coffey of Cedarburg, Jill (Don) Gall of Saukville and Lynn Gall of Monona; grandchildren Sara, Donald Jr., Drew, Evan and Melanie; great grandchildren Dylan, Lily and Oliver; brother Jeffrey McGaw (Leach); brother-in-law Jerry (Theresa) Griffin and sister-in-law Caroline Griffin. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, husband Maurice Griffin and former husband Gerald Gall. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 West Grand Avenue Port Washington, WI 53074). Reverend Michelle Freeman will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org.
