Mrs. Kathy Grahek of Saukville passed away at her home Sunday, April 11, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family. She was 62 years old. Kathleen was born in Waukesha on June 12, 1958, daughter of Kenneth and Meta (McCormick) Abel. She attended local schools. Graduating from Waukesha South High School, Class of '76, before obtaining a degree in Interior Design from WCTI. On August 22, 1981, Kathleen was united in marriage with Frank Grahek, Jr. at St. Florian Catholic Church in West Milwaukee. The couple settled in Wauwatosa and started their family. They moved to Saukville in 1999. Mrs. Grahek had worked as a bank teller at Cornerstone Bank in Grafton for three years. Kathy enjoyed making crafts, decorating, antiquing and preparing for holidays. She was passionate about her flower gardens and loved spending time outside tending to them. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Frank, their children Frank III (Sarah) of Terre Haute, IN, Chelsey (Bill) Ryan of Milwaukee, and Courtney (Chris) Kolb of Hartford, grandchildren Landon, Carter, Dean, Adalynn and Parker, and sisters Nancy (Chuck) Diehn of Big Bend and Judy (Greg) Muenchow of Waukesha. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Monday, April 19th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth will preside. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral home on Monday from 5-7PM.
