Karen S. Gruman Karen Gruman age 62 years of Saukville died Thursday evening July 7 2011 at her residence after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born September 24 1948 in Laona WI daughter of Bernice Widucki Yeater and the late Everett Yeater. On January 13 1968 she married Louis Gruman at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Karen worked at K Mart in Grafton for 17 years and most recently at Banner Craft for 5 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville. She enjoyed traveling going to plays with friends sewing and being with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Louis three children Tim (Ellie) Gruman of Fredonia Tracy (Brad) Campbell of West Bend and Amy (Craig) Halls of Sherwood WI nine grandchildren Sydney Ashley Lexi Taylor Jesse Sam Wyatt Evan and Owen her mother Bernice Yeater of Sussex three sisters Ellen (John) Hess of Summerville SC Marilyn Mag (Jim) Kopet of Mequon and Nancy (Lee) Riggs of Greenfield WI and her brother Dennis (Kelly) Yeater of Wind Lake WI. She was preceded in death by her father. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 11 6:30 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Saukville with Father Tom Lijewski and Father Karl Acker officiating. Visitation at the CHURCH Monday from 3:30 - 6:30 PM. Special thanks to Dr. Allan Torkelson and his nurses especially Chris and Lisa.
