Karen K. Gertsch nbsp;Karen Gertsch age 78 years of the Town of Cedarburg passed away Wednesday morning December 30 2009 at Cedar Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cedarburg.nbsp; She was born July 6 1931 in Milwaukee the daughter of James and Katherine Ellis Van Altena.nbsp; On June 14 1958 she married Eugene Gertsch at Fox Point Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fox Point.nbsp; He preceded her in death in 2006.nbsp; Mrs. Gertsch was a member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.nbsp; She enjoyed gardening doing crossword puzzles reading cooking and baking enjoying the great outdoors and spending time with her family friends and pets.nbsp; She is survived by three sons John of Salem OR Bill (Sue) and David of Cedarburg two grandsons Matt and Ryan Davidrsquo;s special friend Rosalinda other relatives and friends.nbsp; A funeral service will be held nbsp;Tuesday January 5 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
