Ms. June Goetzke of Park Rapids, MN, formerly of Brown Deer, passed away in Bemidji , MN on August 8, 2025. She was 82 years old.

June was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 11, 1943, the daughter of Fredrick and Norma (nee Becker) Harlin. She attended local schools, graduating from Rufus King High School, where she had served as the Class Secretary, in 1961.

June was united in marriage with Richard Goetzke in 1964. The couple settled in Brown Deer, WI and began their family of four children. Richard later preceded June in death in 2001.

Mrs. Goetzke was employed at Alexian Village for over 20 years, where she worked as a Nursing Unit Coordinator. She retired in 2008.

June had always loved going up north with family and friends, which led to her relocation to Northern Minnesota following her retirement. She became a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Park Rapids, MN for many years, starting as comforting families of surgery patients, and moving on to gift shop employee, and an auxiliary volunteer.

Ms. Goetzke was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids. Always a voracious reader, she loved espionage and detective books. In her downtime, June enjoyed crocheting, knitting, doing puzzles, and just sitting on the deck watching the loons on the lake. Above all, she loved taking care of her family.

Survivors include her four children: Tim (Christine) Goetzke of the Town of Erin,WI, Lynn (Timothy) Job of Fredonia, WI, Todd Goetzke of West Bend, WI, and Tom (Cheryl) Goetzke, also of Fredonia. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Arleen (the late Jim) Somerville, other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Eernisse Funeral Home- Port Washington, (1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, WI). Pastor Daniel Fluke will preside. The family will receive guests at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 26, from 10AM until service begin at 12 noon. June will be laid to rest beside Richard at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee following the service.

If desired, memorials are suggested to St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids, MN in June's name.
