June Brown of Milwaukee passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday July 07 2012 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Mequon surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old. June was born in Milwaukee on June 10 1930 daughter of Fred Rothweiler and Lora Wesenberg Rothweiler. June worked for Milwaukee County as a Payroll Manager retiring in the late 1980's after 32 years. June loved listening to many varieties of music. She enjoyed the singing sessions every week at Cedar Springs Health Rehab Center in Cedarburg where she was a resident. June also loved sports. Her favorite teams included the Milwaukee Brewers Milwaukee Bucks Boston Celtics Wisconsin Badgers Green Bay Packers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She is survived by her two children Mary Beth Brown of Oak Creek and Michael (Pamela) Henning of Milwaukee. She is further survived by 3 grandchildren: DavidJohn (Ally Strickler) Brown of Milwaukee Jessica (Rick) Eddy of Hartland and Michael (Carrie) Henning Jr. of Coon Valley MN 10 great-grandchildren: Alexis Evan Gracie Mae Libby Liam Liv Mollie Elijah Jared and Lucie her two sisters Eunice (John) Paulin of Cedarburg and Ottilie Henze of Belleview WA her niece Shelley Anne Schermer and nephew Kurt Henze other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 12 2012 at 6 pm at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg with Pastor John Norquist officiating. She will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Milwaukee. Visitation will take place on Thursday July 12th from 3:30-6 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the Military Order of the Purple Heart. June's family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab Center for all their care and support.
