June V. Diehl Mrs. June Diehl of Twin Valley Trail in the Town of Belgium formerly of the Village of Belgium and Milwaukee passed away at her residence on Thursday February 3 2005. She was 78 years old. June was born on October 27 1926 in Atlantic City New Jersey daughter of Stanley and Anna Noon Wheiland. She worked as an inspector for General Electric in Milwaukee for 12 years retiring in 1989. June enjoyed fishing gambling junkets with friends to area casinos and enjoyed traveling until she no longer could. She is survived by 2 daughters: Frances (William) Tackes of the Town of Belgium and Anna (Anthony) Leahy 3 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren and 1 brother John (Joan) Wheiland. She is further survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by a twin sister Jean and 1 brother Edmund. Private family services were held. Her remains have been inurned at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Memorials to the Ozaukee Humane Society are suggested. Eernisse Funeral Home assisted the family.
