JUDITH Y. PAULSEN Mrs. Judy Paulsen of Main Street in Belgium passed away Thursday evening November 2 2006 at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon. She was 66 years old. Judy was born in Milwaukee on January 23 1940 daughter of Frank and Hertha Firch Sopinski. She was united in marriage with Joseph Paulsen on December 3 1969 in Las Vegas NV. The couple lived in the Fillmore area before moving to Belgium in 1992. Mrs. Paulsen worked at Kenro in Fredonia for 19 years before retiring in 2000. Judy enjoyed gardening baking traveling fishing and crocheting. She liked to spend time feeding the various birds and animals that came to her yard and taking good care of her family. She is survived by her husband Joe of Belgium her three sons: Robert (Barbara) Sopinski of Kewaskum Michael Susalla of Greenfield and James Paulsen of Fond du Lac and four grandchildren: Ryan Aaron and Ashley Sopinski of Kewaskum and Alissa Susalla of Greenfield. She is further survived by 3 sisters: Gerry (Gene) Shaver of Port Washington Arlene Shaw of Tomah and Carol (Gary) Knueppel of Gillett 1 brother-in-law Tom (Janice) Szujewski nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters Joan Ann Hayes and Barbara Szujewski. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday November 7th 7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 171 N. Royal Ave. Belgium. Father James Vojtek will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7PM.
