Judith Ann Kiss, age 79, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Belgium Gardens Assisted Living in Belgium, Wisconsin.
Judy was born on June 11, 1945, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late John R. and Helen (nee Price) Kiss. She attended schools in Wauwatosa, graduating from Wauwatosa West High School in 1964.
Judy had many interests which highlighted her creativity such as cake decorating, crocheting, stained glass art, ceramics, scrapbooking and card making. She shared her card making skills by starting a class at her former residence. She often gifted her creations to relatives and friends. In her younger years she was very active in the USO (United Service Organization) in downtown Milwaukee. She especially enjoyed vintage cowboy movies, her favorites being John Wayne and Roy Rogers films.
Her working career included employment at ColArt Printing in Milwaukee, Wells Fargo Bank and childcare as a nanny both in Connecticut.
Judy will be remembered for her kind and giving ways and love of family and many friends. She loved children, although she had no children of her own, she doted on her two nephews and niece, she considered all of her friends' children as her nieces and nephews as well.
Judy is survived by her three sisters, fondly called "The Kissters" by their niece, Linda Kramer of Manitowoc, Roberta Kiss (Michael Santini) of Mequon, Jeanine Kiss of Appleton. She is also survived by niece Eva Kozerski (Matt) and their children, Thad, Annie and Parker of Appleton, great-nephew Cody Kramer and great-great-nephew Jacob Kramer of Two Rivers, as well as other relatives and friends.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Dan Kramer, nephews Patrick and Nathan Kramer, great-niece Sadie Kramer, maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service for Judy will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will greet guests from 1:00PM until the time of the service at 2:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to be used for a memorial marker to be placed at Judy's final resting place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee or to a veteran's organization of your choice.
Judy's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Belgium Gardens Assisted Living, the Preceptor Hospice team, and Amy Hubbord and Amy DiCriso of My Choice Wisconsin for their compassionate care, respect and kindness to Judy and her family during the past six and a half years, as well as the staff of Eernisse Funeral Home for assisting with arrangements.
