Mrs. Judy Haas of Port Washington passed away suddenly at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee early Thursday morning, July 17, 2025. She was 83 years old.

Judy was born in Port Washington on July 23, 1941, the daughter of Leo and Stella ( nee Nagrocki) Bruecher. She attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School.

On October 13, 1962, Judy was united in marriage with Harlan Haas at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port. The couple settled in town and raised their family of three children.

Mrs. Haas worked as a cashier at Sentry Foods for many years, later working in the office until she retired.

Judy was a faithful member of St. John XXIII Parish. Over her lifetime, Judy enjoyed camping with her family, tending her flower garden, and taking care of her family and children.

Survivors include her husband Harlan, their children Brian Haas (partner Susan Romuald) of Fond du Lac, De Ann Haas (partner Patrick Kocher) of Oak Creek, and Christine Lacey (partner Jay Zahn) of London, WI. She is further survived by two grandsons: James Lacey and Samuel Lacey, sister Jeanine Bruecher, other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3PM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at St. John XXIII – St. Mary Church, 451 N. Johnson St., Port Washington. Father Patrick Wendt will preside the Mass. The family will greet visitors at the church on Thursday from 2PM until Mass begins at 3PM. Judy will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Port Washington immediately following the service.
