Joyce M. Harper passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. She was 82 years old. Joyce was born on August 7, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Matthew and Josephine (Sobus) Barth. Joyce was a woman who took pleasure in the simple things in life. She loved the Cubs and spending time with her grandchildren. She was humble and had a generous soul. Joyce was a selfless individual and spiritual believer with a strong faith. She will be dearly missed and always remembered as a remarkable wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Joyce is survived by her son Jim (Janice) of Thornton, CO, daughters: Cathy (Mike) Cowart of Saukville, Karen (Gregg) Giersch of Saukville grandchildren: Jaquel, Jensen, Collin, Benjamin, Oliver and Mina, sister Connie Karth and brother-in-law: Ken (Kathy) Harper. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Edward Harper and brother-in-law John Karth. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Avenue Port Washington, WI 53074. Father Matthew Jacob will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
