Joshua Johnson of Saukville passed away Sunday August 24 2014 near his cabin in Wausaukee WI following an ATV accident. He was 38 years old. Josh was born August 20 1976 in River Falls the son of Dave and Joan (nee Marsh) Johnson. He was a 1995 graduate of Port Washington High School. On May 24 2007 he was united in marriage with Renee Gosse in Napa CA. He worked for Ozaukee County in the maintenance department. Josh was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Grafton and a previous member of the Port Washington Fire Department. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved being up north at his cabin 4-wheeling hunting and fishing. Since high school he enjoyed sports especially football. Josh enjoyed spending time with his family and was a proud father uncle and Godfather. Josh is survived by his wife Renee and their children: Joslynn and Jacob. He is further survived by his parents Dave (the late Carol) Johnson of Hammond WI and Joan (Jon) Hoogenakker of Inver Grove Heights MN parents-in-law Roger and Ruth Gosse of Sheboygan WI sister Angela (Rick) Lathrop of Port Washington WI and brothers: Dave (Tami) Johnson of Deer Park WI and Mike Johnson of River Falls WI. Other family members include 4 nieces: Amelia Aaliyah Sophia and Briana aunts and uncles: Idell Johnson (Jim Anderson) Larry (Judy) Johnson Trudy Johnson the late Wendy Johnson Julie (Gene) Kolasinski the late Steve (Peggy) Johnson the late Brad (Connie) Johnson Doug (Shelly) Johnson Julie (Bob) Bushey Jim (Judy) Marsh and Debbie (Dennis) Faust cousins other extended relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Lynn and Irene Johnson Ray and Dorothy Matzek Clyde Marsh and Carita Gosse. A Memorial Service will be held at 7PM on Friday August 29 2014 at Eernisse Funeral 1600 W. Grand Ave in Port Washington. Pastor Scott Kruse will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 3-7PM. In Josh's memory casual clothing is encouraged especially camouflage and Packer apparel. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to an Educational Fund being set up for Joslynn and Jacob. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
