Mrs. Jo Ann Geiser, a longtime resident of Belgium, was welcomed into Heaven on August 5, 2021. She was 87 years old.
Josephine was born on May 15, 1934 in New Holstein, daughter of Leo and Rose Goebel Morgen. She graduated from New Holstein High School before marrying Richard Geiser at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. The couple was blessed with four children.
In addition to raising her children, Jo Ann was an active member of Divine Savior – St. Mary Lake Church. She served as the St. Mary Lake Church School secretary for many years, was a longtime member of the Christian Women and baked frequently for St. Ben's. Jo Ann was a brilliant seamstress, not only sewing all of her children's clothes, bride and bridesmaid dresses and gifts for extended family, but also taking in sewing projects from the community. She also took additional classes at MATC to further develop her sewing and upholstering skills.
Gathering her family together for a meal on Sunday's was a very important event every week, and is something that her children remember very fondly. Jo Ann will be remembered most for her caring and kindness.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Richard "Dick" Geiser, and their four children: Jane (John) Conrardy, Judy (Herm) Stippich, Tom (Pam) Geiser and Pamela (Paul) Krauska.
