Josephine "Jo" Conlon was Born to Eternal Life on Thursday August 8, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born in Calabria, Italy on May 28, 1935, the daughter of Serafino and Marianna (nee Purita) Calello.

Josephine was united in Holy Matrimony to Thomas Conlon on April 28, 1962.

Jo came to the United States as a toddler. Her family settled in Newark, New Jersey. There she attended East Side High School. She proudly worked at Equitable Life Insurance for 10 years before becoming a Homemaker.

After having their children, Jo and Tom moved to South Plainfield, NJ. In later years they lived in Charleston, SC, finally settling in Cedarburg in 2010. They had many happy years living the "snow bird" life at their condo in Myrtle Beach, SC in Winter as well.

Josephine was a parishioner of St. Francis Borgia Parish in Cedarburg. She was a part of the knitting ministry where she made hats and blankets. She enjoyed spending time outside, tending to her garden and loved watching the hummingbirds and butterflies.

Jo is survived by her children Marion Conlon of Pennsylvania, Thomas (Susan) Conlon of Cedarburg and Sharon Conlon of Cedarburg; grandchildren Victoria(Himanshu) Bhardwaj, Elissabeth Berdini, Angelo, and Nathan Conlon; great-grandchildren Julia and Rajvir Bhardwaj, along with many relatives and friends.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband Tom at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery in Cedarburg. There will be a private service.
