Joseph Frank Borden passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving parents, Nick and Nicole Borden, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. During his six short days here on earth, he touched many lives and was deeply loved by family and friends.

Born on October 12, 2025, Joey loved snuggling with his parents. His beautiful smile lit up the room during bathtime or when his mom and dad read to him. They loved caring for him. Though his time on earth was short, he brought immense love and joy to his family.

He will be forever remembered and cherished by his parents Nick and Nicole (nee Severin) Borden of Mequon, grandparents Mark & Cheryl Borden of West Bend, Jim Severin of Florida and Mary Severin of Shorewood, and great-grandmother SandraLee Borden. Joey is further survived by his aunt and Godmother Allison (boyfriend Jordan Smith) Severin and uncle and Godfather Matt (Amy) Borden, cousins Ava and Lola, and other family members.

Private family services were held. Joseph was laid to rest at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg.

Though his time with us was brief, his love was immeasurable.
