JOSEPH A. KROCKA nbsp; Mr. Joe Krocka of Highland Drive in Grafton passed away at his residence Thursday evening March 10 2011 while surrounded by his loving family.nbsp; He was 78 years old.nbsp; Joseph was born in Milwaukee on May 24 1932 son of Joseph and Esther Furtmann Krocka.nbsp; After his schooling Joe joined the US Army.nbsp; He became a jumpmaster serving with the 11th Airborne.nbsp; On June 6 1953 Joe was united in marriage with Dorothy Briske at St. Michaelrsquo;s Parish in Milwaukee.nbsp; After Joe left the service the family lived in Milwaukee and later moved to Grafton.nbsp; Mr. Krocka was a member of Sheetmetal Workers Union Local 18. nbsp;He had worked at MJ Rice in Bulter for almost 25 years and later for Quality Heating.nbsp; He retired in 1992.nbsp; Joe was also a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church where he had been an usher for many years.nbsp; Joe looked forward to November every year so he could go deer hunting.nbsp; He enjoyed fishing golfing and bowling and had been an avid fan of both the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers.nbsp; Mr. Krocka is survived by his loving wife Dorothy their seven children: Debra Knitter of West Allis Michael (Janice) Krocka of Saukville Steven Krocka of Hustisford David Krocka of Grafton Cheryl Krocka of Kissimmee FL nbsp;James ldquo;Jimbordquo; (Mona) Krocka of Orange CA and Victoria Krocka of Trenton.nbsp; He is further survived by 15 grandchildren: Sylvester ldquo;Sonnyrdquo; Knitter Shelley (William) Jourdan Jennifer Krocka Kimberly (Steven) Schneider Tricia Krocka Cody Coughlan Jerome (Jackie) Stockwell Ryan Krocka Kristi Krocka Tiffany Brookshire Joesph (Jamie) Grooms Jefferson Grooms James Westrum Amanda and Brandon Angove 16 great-grandchildren 1 sister Marion (James) Burlow of West Bend 2 brothers: Richard (Marie) Krocka of Sparta and Robert Krocka of Portland OR.nbsp; He is also survived by nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Joe is preceded in death by his parents and one sister. nbsp;A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:30 PM on Wednesday March 16th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 145 Church St. Saukville.nbsp; Father Tom Lijewski will officiate.nbsp; Inurnment will take place the next day with Military Honors at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery in Mequon.nbsp; The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 PM.nbsp; Memorials are suggested to the Prostate Cancer Society.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp; The family wishes to thank all of the people from Elmbrook Cancer Center as well as the hospice nurses and aids from Wheaton-Franciscan Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. nbsp;br /Service:br /p5:30 PM on Wednesday March 16th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 145 Church Street Saukville./pbr /Cemetery:br /pSt. Francis Borgia Cemetery Mequon/p
