Jon Diedrich of Saukville passed away early at his residence early Sunday morning, January 20, 2019, following a sudden illness. He was 45 years old. Jonathan was born in Milwaukee on May 3, 1973, son of Dennis and Elaine Wood Diedrich. Jon grew up in Saukville and attended local schools, graduating from Port Washington High School, Class of 1991. He lived in Grafton and Port Washington before returning to Saukville with his family. Mr. Diedrich was employed as a welder at Metalcraft of Mayville. He liked woodworking and working on cars, and the culinary experience of cooking & enjoying the results. For many years his cat Dobi was the main focus of his attention, but that quickly changed with the arrival of his son Logan and daughter Luna, who could always wrap him around their fingers. Survivors include his children Logan & Luna and fiancée Siobhan Devenpeck, all of Saukville, mother Elaine Diedrich, sisters Michelle Budreck and Jennifer Diedrich, all also of Saukville and brother Thomas Diedrich of Grafton. He is further survived by nieces and nephews: James Budreck, Mason & Austin Riha and Makenzie Diedrich, all of Saukville, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Dennis Diedrich. A Memorial Gathering will take place from 4-6PM on Monday, January 28th at the Eernisse Funeral Home , 1600 W. Grand Avenue in Port Washington.
