Mr. John Williams, of Random Lake, formerly of Saukville, passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon early Monday morning, November 2, 2015. He was 75 years old. Johnie was born in Milwaukee on November 16, 1939, son of Bonnie Sr. and Lillian Oresenik Williams. He attended local schools and later served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. On February 14, 1970 he was united in marriage with Jeanette Barcz in Sussex. The couple settled in Sussex before moving to Saukville in 1976, and later to Random Lake in 1991.
John was an electrician, most recently working for Roman Electric and retiring in 2006. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed "more hunting and more fishing"! While living in Saukville John was an EMT with Saukville Rescue Squad.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette, and their five children: Vicki (Dave) Malueg of Oostburg, Jeannine (Dean) Moegenburg of Menomonee Falls, Johnie (Misi) Williams, Jr. of Cedarburg , Michael Williams of El Dorado, WI and Dawn (Bob) Jeziorski of Kewaskum. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren: Bree, Zack and Alex Malueg, Jessica & Nicole Moegenburg, Jacob, Tess & Kyle Williams, Michael & Ethan Williams, Matthew & Taylor Jeziorski, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 5PM on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Deacon Gerry Malueg will preside. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-5PM.
Memorials are suggested to the Columbia-St. Mary's Cancer Center Ozaukee Campus in lieu of flowers.
