John N. Thomas passed away on in the early hours of Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Milan Estates in Saukville. He was 83 years old. John was born to Sylvester and Dorothy Arendt Thomas on February 22, 1938 in Port Washington. He attended local schools and graduated from Port Washington High School. John was united in marriage with Rosalie Dayton and the couple was blessed with four children: John Jr., Robert, Mary and Angela. Mr. Thomas worked as a printing press operator at Pioneer Container, currently International Paper, in Cedarburg, retiring after 42 years on the job. He had a passion for model trains and train sets; when space was available John would have an entire room dedicated to a train table. In more recent years he enjoyed puzzles and watching wresting on television. Those left to honor his memory include daughters Mary (Steven) Kurkerwicz of Grafton and Angela (Doug) Foote of Oostburg, son Robert of Saukville, granddaughter Allyson Engelhardt and sister Agnes (Larry) Watry of Port Washington. He is further survived by other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his son John Jr., nephew Paul Watry and parents Sylvester and Dorothy.
