Obituary

Mr. John Skowbo of 6th Ave. in Grafton passed away at Cedar Gardens in Cedarburg Sunday afternoon May 27 2007. He was 90 years old. John was born on April19 1917 in Emmetsburg IA son of Arthur and Nancy Reiken Skowbo. After attending the University of Iowa he enlisted in the US Navy serving during World War II. He was united in marriage with Mabel Luedtke at Marble Head MA on November 16 1941. She preceded him in death on October 14 1998. Working as a Tool Engineer with Kiekefer Mfg. in Grafton John retired in 1982. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years and was a person of religious faith. Survivors include his son Philip (Susan) Skowbo of Port Washington granddaughters Betsy (Michael) Ketter of Brookfield and Joan (Thomas) Treba of Wausau one sister-in-law Alice Luedtke of Iowa nieces nephews other relatives and friends. At his request no services will be held.
