John Albert Noldin

Passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2023- he was 91 years old.

Loving husband of Nancy Rae for 67 years. Devoted dad of Kim (Brian McGovern) Heim, John (Beth Frank), and Paul (Angela) Noldin. Proud grandfather ("Pops") of Allie (Jodie) Huey, Nick (Julia) Heim, Emily, Ellen, and Jonathan Noldin. Adored great grandfather of Elleanor and Cecilia Huey and Emilia Heim. Further survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

John was born on November 13, 1931, to John and Linda Noldin, in Milwaukee, WI. John was one of five children, one brother and three sisters whom all have proceeded him in death. John attended St. Rita's Catholic grade school and Lincoln High School. He was drafted into the Korean War and proudly served his country in the Army as a Sargent. John worked as a telephone systems planner for over 30 years for AT&T. He retired at age 54 and enjoyed 37 years of retirement.

John & Nancy built a home in Brown Deer and lived there for over 40 years. In 2006, they moved to Grafton, where they made a wonderful new set of friends.

John loved spending time with his family and friends. He was quick witted and always enjoyed a laugh or story. He was a kind, gentle soul, who was a favorite of many. John loved to hunt and fish. He spent time with his father in-law, son and son-in-law hunting and fishing. Valuable information was exchanged in the duck & goose blinds. John was a voracious reader. He happily spent time at his children's lake homes, he liked boating, swimming and being outdoors.

John & Nancy spent every winter in Fort Myers Beach, enjoying the "Beach Life" sunshine, warm weather, swimming in the pool and board games. During their time in Florida, they also enjoyed walks on the beach and John loved to fish in the surf. John was often asked "How he got his Tan"? They made many lifelong friendships in Florida.

Visitation for John will be held Wednesday July 5th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg from 3:30pm to the words of remembrance at 5:30pm. In leu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital are appreciated.
