John Michael Johnson of Port Washington was called to his Heavenly home surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born on April 9, 1956 to Lloyd Jr. and Ruth (nee Lennartz) Johnson. John married his best friend and love of his life Julie Glaze at St. Mary's in Port Washington on July 11, 1987.

John attended Port Washington High School, class of 1974. He worked for Trak International for many years. John later received a degree in biomedical electronics and purchased Biomedical Solutions of Wisconsin. He enjoyed all types of music, camping, fishing and socializing with family and friends. John and Julie traveled to Ireland for their 25th wedding anniversary and spent many weekends in Door County. John was a special and caring man, with piercing blue eyes, a great sense of humor and always willing to help a friend in need. He continued to be encouraging to others and looked at everything in a positive way. John was the best husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and uncle. His family was his heart and soul, and his endearing spirit will live on through all of them.

John's memory will be treasured by his devoted wife Julie, his sons RJ (Jamie) Tannhaeuser and Nicholaus (Lisa Kleiber) Strommen; grandchildren Vanessa (Jermaine) Robinson and Brooklynn Tannhaeuser; great-granddaughter Ariana Robinson; mother Ruth Johnson; siblings Jim (Tina) Johnson, Tom Johnson, Teri (Joe) Yovanovich, Mark (Donna) Johnson and Kathy (Keith) Kichura; brother-in-law David Nichols. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd, sister Jeanne Johnson, brother Jeff Johnson; nephew Joel Yovanovich; mother and father-in-law Nada and Howard Glaze; sister-in-law Shelley Nichols.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave, Port Washington, WI 53074. Fr. Tom Devries will preside. The family will receive visitors from 11:30am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Aurora Grafton Cancer Care Center.
