John A. "Jack" Heisler was born on June 9, 1945 to Rosa Baltes Heisler and John Edward Heisler. He grew up on the east side of Milwaukee and lived there much of his life, graduating from Messmer High School with the Class of 1963. After working as a draftsman and acquiring significant expertise in trades and construction, he completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at UW-Milwaukee in 1978 and was licensed in 1980. On November 29, 1996 he was united in marriage with Janet Jensen in Madison. The couple relocated to Grafton in 2004. A true "Jack of many trades", he was an expert in antique watch and clock repair, motorcycles, cars, guitars and blues music, music boxes, astronomy, and small and large engines, and for many years was a licensed pilot. He is survived by Janet, his sister Susan and nephew John, and by his wonderful extended families in Grafton, Milwaukee and Madison.
