John Eernisse, age 53 years of Rhome, Texas, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. He was born November 24, 1962 in Milwaukee, son of the late Donald and Jean (nee Tolksdorf) Eernisse. John attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Grafton, Cedarburg Elementary Schools, and graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1981. On June 13, 1993, he married Monique Coursey at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. John and Micki lived in Rhome, Texas where John worked as an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines. John enjoyed working on cars and anything mechanical in his home workshop. He is survived by his wife Micki of Rhome, Texas, his sisters Donna (James) Gunderson of Wautoma and Pamela (Larry) Beverung of Saukville, his brother Dennis (Connie) Eernisse of Cedarburg, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 21, 4 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 Washington St., Grafton with Pastor Scott Kruse officiating. Burial will be in Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg. Visitation at the CHURCH Sunday from 2-4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church or charity of choice appreciated.
