John L. Clemens, 77, of Cedarburg, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon. He was born on October 14, 1943 in Cudahy, the son of Esther Clemens. John was a 1961 graduate of Norris Academy in Mukwonago. On May 16, 1964 he married Nelda J. Butzke at David's Star Lutheran Church in Jackson. John retired in 2005 as plant manager at E.S.T Company. John had a passion for fishing, golfing, and all sports, managing baseball teams through his church. He loved Nelda's baking fresh out of the oven. John cherished time with family and friends playing games, cards, and chess. He is survived by his loving wife Nelda, his two children, Tammy (Tim) Gullickson of Campbellsport, and Tim (Carla) Clemens of Cumming, GA; four grandchildren, Kyrstal, Collin, Brendon, and Jason; step-grandchildren, Zach and Mason; great-grandchild, Connar. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and other relatives and friends. No services will be held at this time. The family would like to thank the staffs at Ascension Colombia St. Mary's Hospital, Lasata Care Center, and Comfort Care for the special care given.
