DAMON JOANN A. Mrs. Joann (nee Uttke) Damon of Sunset Road in Port Washington formerly of Milwaukee passed away on Sunday September 30 2007 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. She was 75 years old. Joann was born March 8 1932 in Milwaukee the daughter of Edward and Philomena Czarnezki Uttke. On March 31 1951 she married Robert L. Damon at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Her and Robert raised their family in Milwaukee. Mrs. Damon worked as a nurse technician at St. Francis Hospital for many years. The couple moved to Port Washington 1996. Joann was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Robert L. one son Robert E. (Lynn) of Oak Creek and four grandchildren: Brian (Candace) Christopher Matthew (Katie) and Jenny. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Carol Damon of Elm Grove nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her son David and two brothers Ronald and Arnold Uttke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday October 3 2007 at 6 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington. Father Tom Lijewski will officiate. Interment will take place in Valhalla Cemetery Milwaukee. The family will receive visitors from 4 - 6 PM at the CHURCH on Wednesday.
