Mrs. Joan Tomansky of Port Washington and formerly of Oconto Falls passed away early Sunday morning September 16 2012 at Ellen's Home in Port Washington where she had resided. She was 86 years old. Joan was born August 2 1926 in Norwich England the daughter of Bertram and May Burr. On August 2 1945 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Tomansky in England. He preceded her in death in 2006. Up through her 70's Joan had enjoyed fishing and hunting and currently had collections of dolls and plants. Joan had loved hosting parties and spending time with friends and family. Joan is survived by her daughters Joan (Tom) Kramer of Wauwatosa and Kathy (Bob) Schurrer of Port Washington and grandchildren: Lisa Brian Cyndee. She is further survived by 5 great-grandchildren nieces and nephews in England other relatives and friends. A private memorial service will be held and Joan will be laid to rest beside Kenneth at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Stiles WI. The family would like to thank Ellen's Home for their compassionate care of Joan and the rest of the family.
