JOANN M. BUDE Mrs. JoAnn Bude of the Town of Belgium passed away at her residence while surrounded by her family on Monday May 26 2014. She was 75 years old. JoAnn was born in West Allis on March 6 1939 daughter of Boleslaus Bill and Anna Staniszky Pekrul. She attended local schools and graduated from West Allis Central high School. On November 12 1977 she was united in marriage with Neil Bude in Wauwatosa. The couple settled in Wauwatosa and later moved to the Town of Belgium in 1990. JoAnn worked at Grunau Inc. for over 30 years most recently as a comptroller. She enjoyed the camaraderie of her office and had worked up until two weeks ago. Mrs. Bude enjoyed the challenge of running marathons completing six in the last four years. JoAnn liked being outside and enjoyed long walks with her dog (who took her to Zing and bought her presents every Sunday). She also liked shopping for antiques photography going to crystal stores cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. JoAnn is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Neil their three children: Sandra Dane of Ashland City TN Kim Couillard (fianc Steve Schram) of Milwaukee and Dan (Joan) Bude of Westfield ( and her special favorite Otis ) and six grandchildren: Amber and Ryan Klump Alexander Devin Couillard and Neil Katlyn Bude. She is further survived by great-granddaughter Kadence Klump sister Esther (Larry) Zak of Peshtigo brothers William (Rosemary) Pekrul of New Berlin and Robert (Gail) Pekrul of Rhode Island brothers-in-law Delbert (Sharon) Bude and Jerry (Diane) Bude both of Iola nieces nephews other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Alfons Pekrul. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 3-5PM on Saturday May 31st at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington.
