Jewel V. Hajny was Born to Eternal Life on Monday July 31, 2017 at the age of 98. She was born January 13, 1919 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Charles and Libby (nee Krainik) Marshalek. She was united in marriage to Charles Hajny on April 1, 1944 in Ventura, CA where Charles was stationed with the US Navy. Charles passed away in 2007. Jewel is survived by, her sons Albert of New Berlin, WI, John (Debbie) of Tillamook, OR, Bruce (Terry) of Burleson, TX and Roger (Sharon) of Cedarburg, WI, sister of Libby Horning of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren Jill (Casey) Allen, Wendy (Rene) Martinez, Matt Hajny, Sarah Hajny, Preston (Holly) Hajny, Andrew (Jennifer) Hajny and Paul (Jenna) Hajny, great-grandchildren Marshall Allen, Breckin Allen, Bridget Allen, Yasmine Martinez, Abigail Hajny, Victoria Martinez, Isaac Hajny and Evelyn Hajny, along with other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday August 5, 2017 at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 AM - 12:00 PM and at a reception to be held immediately following the service. Private Interment Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Jewel was an avid reader, she also enjoyed gardening, sewing and fishing. Memorials to Susan G. Komen Southeast WI, appreciated.
