Jerry Damrow Sr., of the Town of Fredonia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 24, 2024, at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon, after a valiant battle with HLH. He was 72 years old.
Jerry was born in Sheboygan on August 24, 1951, the son of Leroy and Germaine (nee Miske) Damrow. He grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School with the class of 1969.
Jerry worked as a mechanic on cars and motorcycles for his entire life and was known as a skilled mechanic in the industry. He was a proud member and President of the Outer Limits Motorcycle Club, where he shared his passion for motorcycles with like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide. He was a man of many talents and interests and took meticulous care of his motorcycles and classic cars.
On February 22, 2012, he married the love of his life, Jill Reynolds in Ocho Rios, Jamacia. The couple were together for over 22 years.
Throughout his life, Jerry was known for his warm smile, kind heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Jerry was very active at St. Simon the Fisherman Episcopal Church and enjoyed sharing God's word at Harbor Campus in Port Washington with his dear friend Father Julian Hills.
Outside of work, Jerry found joy in the simple things in life. He took great pride in his lawn, spending countless hours caring for it and ensuring it remained pristine. His love of nature and the outdoors was infectious, and his green thumb was admired by many. Jerry and Jill spent many hours spending time in their yard watching nature and truly enjoyed it when friends and family came to visit.
Jerry is survived by his wife Jill and his five children: Jerry (Missy) Damrow Jr., Chad (Theresa) Rousseau, Theresa (Rick) Otte, Joseph Damrow and Angela (Andy) Hill. He is further survived by Jill's children Emily Knope and Aaron Hess, his six grandchildren: Jonathan, Keaton, Halayna, Carson, Sydney, and Jace, three great-grandchildren: Kayson, Bennett, and Henry, his siblings Leroy (Cheryl) Damrow and Judy (Mark) Lemke, his mother-in-law Shirley Reynolds, other relatives and many, many friends.
