Jerome "Jerry" C. Rychtik, of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 18, 2024. He was 88 years old.
Jerry was born on February 13, 1936, in Athens, Wisconsin to the late Constantine and Theresa (Eibl) Rychtik. His dedication to his family was unparalleled, as evidenced by his marriage to his beloved wife, Norma Rychtik, at St. Francis Borgia Church on November 11, 1961.The couple spent over 60 years together.
Throughout his life, Jerry pursued a career in welding, initially working for various local businesses before taking the brave leap to start his own welding company in 1963. His entrepreneurial spirit and hard work fueled the success of his business, where he poured his heart and soul into his work, valuing family, and his career above all else. After he semi-retired, he enjoyed his visits to family and friends in Arizona. As he phased himself out of working every day, his greatest enjoyment was watching his grandchildren grow and become the adults that made him so very proud.
