Jerome W. Johnson of Saukville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the age of 80. He was born in Chicago, IL to Gottfried and Gladys (Schultz) Johnson on April 4, 1940 the oldest of their two sons. Jerome graduated from Custer High School, Milwaukee in 1959 and later attended UW-Milwaukee to study civil engineering. He retired from American Can Manufacturing after 21 years of dedicated service. Jerome enjoyed talking walks, fishing, and reading the Wall Street Journal. He traveled multiple times to Central and South America and enjoyed his time on the cruise ships there. Jerome is survived by his brother, David Dennis Johnson of Grafton and Goddaughter Michie C. Robinson of McEwen, TN who loved him like an uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation for Jerome will be held from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington, WI 53074. Jerome will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
