Ms. Jennifer Fitzgerald of Chestnut Street in Port Washington, age 37, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Jen was born in Waukesha on June 18, 1979, daughter of Patricia and John Szyjewski. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and attended local schools. Jen worked as a General Manager for many different restaurants throughout the years. She was a wonderful hostess, loved cooking and making sure people were well taken care of and happy. She enjoyed singing with her beautiful voice and walking her dogs near her home. Jen was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her children. Jennifer is survived by her daughter Brittany Fitzgerald (Nick Lee), age 21 of West Allis and son Julien Omejc, age 14 of Port Washington. She is also survived by her father John Szyjewski of Milwaukee, sister Rachel Mooney (Damian Struble) of Milwaukee, brothers John (Sarah) Szyjewski, Jr. of Hartford and William "Liam" White of Portland, OR, five nieces and nephews: Ein, Eva, Lewis, Lawrence and Maddie, and her loving friend Tim Molkentine of Port Washington. Her mother, Patricia Szyjewski, preceded her in death on September 23, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Monday, May 15th at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington. Rev. John Szyjewski, Jr. and Rev. David Ayer will con-celebrate the service. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-7PM.
