Jeffrey P. Szczerbinski of Fredonia, age 49, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. The son of Richard and Sandra (nee Nagel) Szczerbinski. Jeff was born on August 20, 1967 in Illinois and raised in Fredonia. He graduated from Northern Ozaukee High School in 1985. After high school, Jeff went to work for his Uncle in Roselle, IL and later moved back to Fredonia to start his own business. He worked closely with his brother Scott in the construction industry. Jeff was very skilled; he could fix or make anything. He enjoyed hunting and was very involved coaching baseball and football teams and participating in 4-H club with his boys. Visiting and playing with his grandchildren was one of Jeff's favorite past-times. Jeff is survived by his children, Meghan (Jim) Kelley of Kewaskum, Beau, Nick and their mother Shelly Szczerbinski of Fredonia, his mother Sandra Szczerbinski of Fredonia; sister, Jennifer (Mike) Krupp; brother Scott (Linda) Szczerbinski; grandchildren, Graci Roller, Mackenzie and James Kelley; nieces and nephews, Michael and Hannah Krupp, Brianna and Ty Szczerbinski; dear Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Richard; grandparents, Constantine and Jean Szczerbinski, Roy and Betty Nagel. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Eernisse Funeral Home (1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg) with Pastor Linda Wesphal-Buth presiding. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00am-1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the education fund of Jeff's children. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheyboygan Falls.
